Yes folks, its our
SUNDAY-AFTER-THANKSGIVING-HIKE!
Just a friendly reminder that this weekend, October 28-29, we end Daylight Saving Time for this year. We’ll still meet at our regular time, it’s just that it will be 11:30 Standard Time this time! Don’t forget to set your clocks back an hour and enjoy an extra hour’s sleep if you can. If you don’t, you may find yourself waiting it the parking lot for an extra hour until the rest of us show up!
Not sure how much this has to do specifically with hiking but we can all use whatever help we can get in this area of our lives!
Now is the time of year when the pharma companies ship their flu vaccines. The upcoming cold winter months are normally flu season.

As always, we welcome appropriate submissions of photographs from our hikes and other outdoors events involving our members. If you have photographs you would like to contribute, the best thing to do is post them to your own photo gallery, send us a link and we will either download the photos we would like to display in our gallery or link to your photo gallery.
There are many photo gallery options (many free) available on the internet, just do a Google search using the term "online photo album" or similar search term and you should retrieve many results.
Alternately, you may email digital photos as attachments to us at
harrimanhikers@gmail.com, using the guidelines below:
Submitted photos should ideally be color .jpgs sized to 500px high x however wide x 72ppi. Please do not ask us to answer technical questions about using online photo galleries, or digital photography in general, it is beyond the scope of our capabilities to answer questions of this nature. Do research using an online search engine such as Google or consult your photo gallery host for technical support.
Please do not submit camera phone photos
We do not accept photo submissions unless submitted by the original photographer.
Also, please note, we reserve the right to accept, or reject, photo submissions at our sole discretion.
